Featured Project
Stile Ed. needed a postcard to introduce their education curriculum to middle and high school science teachers in Oregon. Inspired by the traditional hand-lettered postcard work of Curt Teich, my illustration combines Oregon landmarks Mt. Hood and Haystack Rock with science education iconography. The design was used on postcards, shirts, tote bags, and other Stile Ed. products, and was reproduced on a large scale by a local Portland chalk artist for Stile Ed's classroom-themed exhibit at the Oregon Science Festival.
Senior Thesis Project
For my Senior Thesis I spent ten weeks researching, writing and planning a project prospectus, followed by ten weeks of illustration and web design, to launch dysfunction.fun. The goal was to create a friendly, interactive, educational experience which would teach others about Executive Dysfunction, and promote empathy and understanding for those living with what is generally an invisible disability.
